How do I register to attend MHSC 2023?

You can click here to register for the conference and here for more information about registration.

Can any high school student attend the conference?

Yes! Any high school student from an underrepresented community (i.e. racial, sexual, gender, socioeconomic minorities, etc.) who is interested in the health sciences is encouraged to apply!

How much does it cost to attend MHSC?

The Minority Health Sciences Conference experience is completely free to any registrant.

When and where is the conference?

The 2023 conference will be held at the Thurman J. White Forum Building (OU Norman Campus) on April 15 from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Click here to view the location.

What should I wear or bring to the conference?

Each participant will receive a MHSC t-shirt during check-in, and we encourage you to wear jeans the morning of!

What meals will be served during the day?

A light breakfast will be served from 8:00am to 9:00am during check-in, and a full lunch will be served from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Snacks will be provided throughout the day, and dietary restriction friendly options will be available for each meal.

What should I do if I registered for MHSC but cannot attend?

Notify us by clicking here, where you will be redirected to an email template. Please include (1) your name and (2) the email you used to register.

Where can I find appropriate risk management forms?

Risk management forms can be found here for the scheduled in-person conference and here in the event of a virtual conference.
